Melissa Lennon
Melissa graduated from Washington and Lee with her BA in Psychology, and then earned her teaching certification from West Chester University upon realizing that early learning and brain development were what had intrigued her about psychology in the first place. She then worked for seven years as a teacher at the Agnes Irwin School.
All of her children attended Playschool, and after being a parent helper for the many years they attended and then continuing as a full time substitute after they graduated, becoming a teacher in the Yellow Room was the next step! She formally joined our staff as a Lead Teacher in 2017.
When not teaching, Melissa reads everything, tends bees, and makes ‘stuff’. She lives in Phoenixville with her husband and three children.

Niki Craig
Niki earned a BA from Kutztown University in Early Childhood Education. She has a passion for creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel eager to explore.
Outside of the classroom she loves to spend time with her husband and their backyard crew of ducks, chickens and dog Watson.
