Ways to Support Charlestown Playhouse
A percentage of your Giant purchase amount is given to Playschool if you have registered your card at the Customer Service desk or at the Giant website. It only needs to be done once, and will not affect gas points or other promotions. Register other family members, like grandparents, too. You only need to do it once for your entire time at school.
Dine Out Nights
Watch the Charlestown Playhouse Facebook pages for announcements about monthly dine-out fundraisers at local restaurants that will donate a portion of sales to Playschool. Thank you to Iron Hill Brewery and Liberty Union for hosting us.
Box Tops for Education
Look for Box Tops for Education coupons on snack foods, cereals, and other boxed foods, as well as plastic bags and household items. Drop off your box tops at Playschool.
Show your Playschool spirit and let your child (and your car!) show theirs too. Purchase clothing for adults and kids, car magnets, and other items at the monthly League meetings or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Educational Improvement Tax Credit
The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) allows businesses to contribute up to $10,000 in scholarship funds with a dollar-for-dollar offset in the tax year contributed. In other words, small businesses can allocate their PA tax dollars to Playschool without paying anything more out of pocket for the year!
